'Alumni Meet 2026' organized at KCAEFT-Tavanur
The KCAET Alumni Association, established in 1998, continued to reflect the institution’s strong legacy with a vibrant network of over 1,200 alumni. The college, which has produced 37 batches of Agricultural Engineers and 10 batches of Food Technologists, has consistently contributed skilled professionals to academia, industry, research, and public service. Its academic strength was further reinforced through M.Tech. and Ph.D. programmes in FMPE, SWCE, and PFE, along with the recently introduced M.Tech. programme in Renewable Energy Engineering.
In commemoration of the commencement of the first batch on 23 January 1986, Agricultural Engineers’ Day (Institutional) was celebrated with the Annual Alumni Meet 2026, held on 23 January 2026 with Chief Guest as Dr. Paul K. Thomas, Founder & MD, ESAF Small Finance Bank (Alumnus). The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of a large number of alumni, faculty members, students, and invited guests, making it a vibrant and memorable gathering.
The programme featured engaging technical sessions, rich knowledge-sharing interactions, mentoring and networking opportunities, and colourful cultural programmes. The overwhelming response and active participation of alumni greatly enriched the celebrations and provided valuable exposure and career guidance to students. The Annual Alumni Meet 2026 was a grand success, strengthening alumni bonds, fostering professional synergy, and reinforcing the institution’s collective vision for the future of agricultural engineering and allied sectors.
