Republic Day Celebrated
The 77th Republic Day of India was celebrated with pride and patriotic fervour at KCAEFT-Tavanur.
Hoisting the national flag, Dean of Faculty (Agrl. Engg.), Dr. Jayan P. R. reminded everyone of the strength of India’s Constitution and the collective responsibility of citizens to uphold its values.
Warm greetings and messages were delivered by Dr. Abdul Jabbar, Head, Instructional Farm; Dr. Priya G. Nair, Head, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malappuram; Dr. Abdul Hakkim, Head, SWC Division; and Er Princy, NSS Officer.
In the context of 2026 being observed as the International Year of Women Farmers, the speakers highlighted the importance of agricultural development, regional and national initiatives, and the role of farmers in nation-building. It was emphasized that those engaged in agriculture truly embody the spirit of 'Vande Mataram' through their dedication and service.
Students, teaching and non-teaching staff, and NSS volunteers actively participated in the programme.
