Dutch team at KAU-RARS
The Centre of Excellence for Vegetables and Flowers, an Indo-Dutch collaboration project with the Kerala Agricultural University-Regional Agricultural Research Station, Ambalavayal, Wayanad, recently hosted an international delegation from the Consulate general of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Department of Sustainable Economic Development, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kingdom of the Netherlands, and program officers from IDH-Sustainability organization on 26th September 2025, to understand the activities and impact of the Centre of Excellence.
Ms. Anne Cremers, Deputy Consul for the Kingdom of the Netherlands for South India, Government of the Netherlands, Ms. Charlotte, Senior Policy Advisor, Department of Sustainable Economic Development, Government of the Netherlands, Mr. Keerthiraj, Sr. Program Officer, IDH, Ms. Maryam Zameela, Sr. Program Officer, IDH were the team members.
Team visited the Indian and Dutch polyhouses and the hydroponics units and discussed in detail the crops and their marketing systems. The visiting team appreciated the efforts of the KAU-RARS.
